Install intirn from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions. Then open it from your Shopify admin: Apps, then intirn. intirn sets up an account for your store the first time you open it. If you already use intirn.com, you can link that account instead, and your images and videos come with it.

In your Shopify admin go to Online Store, Themes, Customize, open App embeds (in Theme settings), switch on intirn shoppable images and press Save. The intirn app shows whether it is on. Nothing else in your theme changes.

1. In the intirn app, press Choose on my store. Your store opens in pick mode.
2. Click the image or video you want. Videos in your theme work the same way as images.
3. Press Make it shoppable. intirn brings it in, keeping your theme’s own spot, size and crop.
4. Tag the products in it with products from your store, right in the intirn app inside Shopify.
5. It goes live on your store as soon as one product is tagged. Shoppers can open a product on the image, see its details and add it to their cart without leaving the page. Change the tags at any time and the store follows.

Charges are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Change or cancel your plan in the intirn app (Plan and settings); cancelling or uninstalling stops future charges.

Go to Settings, Apps, find intirn and uninstall it. intirn’s embed leaves your theme, so your store shows its own images again, and charges stop. Photos intirn copied into your store’s Files stay in your Files; you can delete them there. 48 hours after you uninstall, the images and videos in your store’s own intirn account are deleted permanently. If you linked an intirn.com account instead, that account and everything in it stay yours.

intirn reads your products and themes to do its job, and your orders only to count sales that came from intirn: order number, products, quantities and prices, never your customers’ names, emails or addresses. When you uninstall, intirn’s access ends at once. 48 hours later your store’s data is deleted, including the images and videos in its own intirn account, and its viewing statistics are anonymised.
